High School Summer Camps
The I-DREAM4D Consortium is proud to work with Region One and the Independent School Districts to offer the Engineering Summer Camps!
The Summer Camps are designed to motivate and prepare high school students for a bright career in engineering.
Students who participate in the Camps will have the opportunity to:
- Learn basic programming skills which will enable them to controll a mini-robot
- Learn mechanics design to ensure the robot does the required tasks
- Understand additive manufacturing for 3D design and print components to facilitate additional functions for the robot
- Learn wide engineering topics given in lectures by UTRGV Faculty
- Explore fascinating opportunities at DoD and Defense Manufacturing Industry!
